Abilities:
Super Saiyan Lvl 1
Trunks is a hybrid of Human/Saiyan for his race. His heritage means he is a gifted natural fighter, adept at training, and at using and sensing ki (and skills based on it). His natural talent is already that of a peak human athlete and master Martial Artist/expert Swordsman. However, because of his Saiyan heritage, he has access to a powered-up form known as “Super Saiyan”. This form at level 1 takes the natural power of the individual, and multiplies it by 50.
The Super Saiyan form is not without drawbacks, as it is ultimately fueled by rage and anger. He's a bit more ruthless and reckless while in that state, as well as it costing ki-energy to maintain the form. On the physical side of things, his musculature and physique become a bit more defined, his hair will spike up from the ki-energy (like in a harsh wind) and turn gold, and his eyes turn green. In this state, basically everything about him is sharper and more defined, so to speak.
Transforming into the Super Saiyan state requires powering up, wherein a golden glow will start to emanate in an aura around him. As the golden-glow seems to subsume him, the physical changes occur, though a faint aura of ki-energy remains around him. It may be assumed near-instantaneously if strong emotions are provoked to provide a 'jump start' of sorts.
Master Martial Artist/Swordsman
Trunks is a hybrid of human and saiyan, a race of warriors. Fighting and training is in his blood. While mostly self-taught, he achieved basic ki-manipulation and the ability to use it to fly as well as combat skills enough to impress Gohan with how far along he was at age 14. With Gohan then mentoring him properly, he became skilled enough to have a more effective chance against advanced Androids (really Cyborg entities) who terrorized and devastated their world.
It is unknown when Trunks first gained his sword, or how (at least in the canon we have) or who taught him to wield it. Nevertheless he is shown to be extremely skilled in its use, but not dependent on it.
Ki-energy manipulation
Ki-energy is a representation of the life-force all beings have, being harnessed and honed to improve oneself. For Martial Artists, it allows greater endurance, among other things. A master Martial Artist may be able to focus their ki-energy to allow them super-human feats (such as levitation and flying) or a focused blast of energy. They might also be able to project their ki-energy around them in an aura that can shield them. A skilled user of ki-energy may also be able to sense the presence of other strong ki-users, and mask their own ki-signature and presence.
Trunks is an extremely skilled ki-energy user, being naturally adept at it thanks to his heritage and training. He is capable of masking his own ki-signature and presence (his power level essentially), as well as sensing other extremely strong people. He can fly, project his ki-energy around him in an aura, and has mastered basic ki-energy bursts. He has a few signature attacks.
Burning Attack Trunks performs a series of rapid arm movements before placing his palms forward, with the thumbs and index fingers touching each other to form a small diamond shape, then he fires a powerful blast of energy from his palms towards the opponent. [Quote from the wiki.]
Buster Cannon/Finish Buster A ki-energy wave fired from both hands.
Shining Sword Attack He fires a Burning Attack slowly enough for the opponent to dodge by taking to the air, where he surprises and slices the opponent to bits before finishing them off with a flash of yellow energy shot from one hand [Quote from the wiki.]
Most of his attacks are variations of the above at this canon-point in the series.
Mechanical Engineering/Computer Programming and Maintenance
Trunks is the son and grandson of a Genius-inventor, and in his time-line has had to maintain what resources they have in the post-apocalyptic-West City. While not at his mother's level, he likely has enough know how to access most hidden files and repair most basic modern-technology and devices.
Urban Survival and Scavenging
Trunks has had the misfortune to exist in a world under constant attack by Androids intent on terrorizing and killing everyone. They destroy cities without remorse, and Trunks and his mother remained in the ruins of Capsule Corps in West City, using the demolition as cover.

Background:
Boreas has some sort of a fairytale backstory in that the commonly heard version around his world is that he was an orphan left to die in the cold mountains but was saved by dragons and appointed as their leader/ambassador to humans. It's backed up by how he can speak to the dragons in his world and wields a variety of frost-based powers. He proceeded to dispose of the then-king and abolished his corrupt policies, only to close his country and make Isaz a mystery to the rest of the world. He was intended to be one of the agents to destroy the realm, but by his own willpower and the intervention of possession he managed to break free from that compulsion. Then in his plan to save his country, he decided to destroy one of the two moons of his world so that he could build the other into a spaceship that took his people away from their crumbling realm. Eventually he concedes enough to allow the other nations to work with him and they sail off before their world completely disintegrates.
Personality: Curt, brash and quite brutally honest, he may come off as unpleasant but it sources from the inability to keep patience for fools. He's very productive and clear-cut about where his responsibilities lie, he is vehemently defensive of his people and cares naught for those outside his sphere of duty. In the same way he can be described as having a hot-cold personality, but at the core he is kind and wishes for the best for those he cares for.
After all, you cannot save everyone.
Abilities:
All of Boreas' powers source from his non-human biology, so to speak - his body was once human, but the Makers installed a Life Engine into the centre of his chest, making him a sort of human-android hybrid. The Life Engine is a device that enables the conversion of matter into energy without creating a nuclear meltdown. His Life Engine takes the shape of an octahedral golden crystal embedded into his chest, replacing his heart. It's not visible from the outside unless his ribcage is slashed open. It supplies energy to keep his body functional (energy needed to move, jump, talk), and excess energy can be stored inside the Engine for later use or directed out as magic. His body has an internal structure similar to that of normal humans, however his blood has been entirely replaced by Puppet matter via the Engine's effects. Instead of blood flowing through his veins, his vessels are filled with a solid substance similar to golden aerogel. When he is injured, the matter liquidates and appears as golden ichor. Because of this, he also has no pulse.
Most of his cells are also effectively 'dead', not displaying any biochemistry reactions that are associated with living cells. In essence, his body is much like a doll or android, and the Life Engine is the battery. To charge the battery, so to speak, he will need to consume matter. Matter, no matter what origin or composition, can be converted into energy by the Engine via the e=mc^2 equation. This process isn't instantaneous, and it is not completely efficient, but it suffices to upkeep his body and generate his magic. He can technically break down anything he touches, but he prefers to replenish his supply by eating. An average meal, when consumed, will take two hours to 'digest', and as for physical matter, he will be able to break down an empty soda can's worth of matter in about fifteen seconds.
Physiology-based
- Regeneration - His Life Engine gives him the ability to regenerate injuries as long as he is supplied with enough energy to do so. However, this is not instantaneous, and will take time. As a result he needs to rest like everyone else in order to fix his wounds. He can survive explosions and burns due to the extreme durability of the Engine. As long as it is intact, he will be able to regenerate a whole body, but the downside is that it takes a very, very long time. If his physical vessel is entirely vapourized, it would take him a full month to rebuild his body.
- Implosion - The Engine may be extremely durable, but it won't last forever. It can be broken if you drop a large truck on it, for example. However, doing so would also release all the stored energy within the Engine in one single flash. If the Engine is completely drained, this would just result in a fizzle, but in most cases it can detonate with the force equivalent to a large bomb. He can also do it voluntarily if he so wishes, but doing so would effectively count as suicide.
- Augmentation - Using energy stored inside his Engine, he can 'shapeshift' into an armoured form that grants him increased endurance and speed (but not physical strength). This ability is referred as 'Wyrmsblood' by him, but it has no connection to dragons at all. In this form, scales will cover almost all his body, giving him the impression of wearing a suit of dragon-like armour. His face will still be visible, being the only part that is still exposed. There will be an initial energy expenditure of rearranging his physical body matter to this form, but after that the form can be maintained indefinitely if he does not get hit. Energy is expended negating any physical blows that he receives.
- Weakness to Fire - A given, since he's highly specialized in ice. He will also sweat if the ambient temperature rises above 25 degrees C.
Magic
All these abilities source themselves from his Life Engine. Once all the energy stored in his Engine is exhausted, further magic use will begin burning his physical matter as fuel - he becomes hollow inside, basically. As soon as he starts doing that, golden patterns resembling electronic circuits will appear all over his skin. In extreme cases he can effectively burn himself to nothing, leaving only the Engine behind.
- Ice Manipulation - The creation and control of ice around him. He can crystallize any available water in the air, if it's needed. In the same vein, he can chill the temperature around him in a 10m radius. This can go down to absolute zero if he so wishes, but the energy consumption will rise exponentially. As a rule of thumb, the larger the change in temperature needed and the larger the area affected, the larger the energy consumption.
- Energy Absorption - By absorbing the thermal energy from the surroundings, he can also recharge himself and lower the ambient temperature in the process, but it's much slower than ice manipulation above.
- Shield - He can project a translucent hemispherical shield around him. Like his Wyrmsblood form, energy will be expended if something hits the shield. He can probably protect against a speeding car or a point-blank bomb, but he wouldn't be able to last against something that would cave two houses or more powerful than that. It's best deployed in one-on-one combat.
He can also speak to dragons but since he doesn't have a dragon here it's basically moot heheh
I'm also intending for him to bring his customized sword, which acts as a conduit for his ice abilities. Other than being a conduit it functions like a normal sword, being able to swing around/cut things/etc. The conduit is the only exceptional part

Abilities:
Many of Selphie's abilities (sans limit break) are dependent on a Guardian Force (GF) being equipped. This includes standard options such as Draw, GF, Item, etc. can be utilized this way. For more information on FF8's Junction system, click here!
Limit Break - Slot
Slot is pretty simple sounding. Basically, the gist of Selphie's slot ability is to cast powerful (Firaga, Blizaga, Thundaga... you know THAT magic. xD) magic or any type of magic to help the party currently in use.
Full Cure - Think of it like a combination of a megalixer (heals all Hit points) and a Remedy (heals all status effects [poison, silence, etc.])
Wall - This ability casts Protect and Shell (these both increase defence) on the entire party. If would ever be allowed to use this ability, it would cast Protect and Shell on those closest to her.
Rapture - This ability creates sparkly magic wings that gradually appear on the backs of enemies. It then lifts them into the sky and removes them from the battle field. (This will stay locked)
The End - Think the Falcon Punch but that it does a lot more damage. It unleashes a large amount of physical energy at an enemy that instantly eliminates it. It's powerful enough that it might even be able to take out the bosses. (Again, this is staying locked. It's just better that way. If arrangements need to be made for this ability don't hesitate to contact me.)
